DESCRIPTION:Crewe Male Voice Choir was formed 60 years ago and what better way to celebrate this birthday than to hold a concert? Sharing the programme once again are Crewe Brass under their new musical director\, Matthew Pithers. \nOur comperes for the evening is local soprano Jane Johnson and bass Kevin Whitfield. During the concert we will recognise the achievements of the 2018 winners of the Sandbach Concert Series Young Musician competition (sponsored by the Choir). \nCome early and enjoy a drink from the bar whilst listening to the pre-show entertainment by the South Cheshire George Formby Society\, browsing the Choir’s archive exhibition and buying raffle tickets for St Luke’s Hospice. \n1960’s dress code is optional\, but bring your flags (any nationality) for the finale and be prepared to join with some of the songs\, especially for our tribute for the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1. \nThe Choir is supporting the 30th Anniversary of St Luke’s Hospice with a target of raising £3000 – with your help – during the Choir’s anniversary events. \nTickets: £12Concessions: £8Groups 10+: £10.50\, Buy 10 Get 11th Free
